The Technology

The solution is based on the following principle:
Wind passable / viewer visible
The system of digital screens is based on a unique technology that combines the use of several patents. The screen is built based on slim LED profiles which create a curtain of sorts, approved by the crane manufacturer to ensure safety and maximum suitability. This is a modular solution specifically tailored to each of the existing crane models, based on in-depth understanding and acquaintance with the structure of the cranes and their limitations.

The Structure

 The LED light intensity is up to IP65 12,000 NITS, with high visibility during the day, at night and in any weather. The intensity can be optimized according to the needs and requirements and are characterized by secure anchoring suitable for construction areas.

The wind is the main and most significant factor that poses a threat to the crane’s stability on the one hand, and a major parameter in planning and operational considerations on the other hand, A drag coefficient test was conducted to assess the safety of a SKY SIGN screen compared to regular signage. This test is conducted in a wind tunnel in the aim of testing the resistive force acting on a certain object with respect to the wind force.
According to the basic laws of physics, the more an object is impermeable to wind flow, the greater the wind resistance, in other words a higher drag coefficient, which endangers the crane’s safety and security.

The results show Sky Sign's drag coefficient = 0.734 as opposed to a standard sign's drag coefficient 1.3

This ratio shows a 43.5% reduction in wind drag coefficient as opposed to any of the signs found today

SKY SIGN signage meets tower crane standardization requirements according to FME 1.001QEN14439-C25 standard.

This standard examines weather and wind resistance at the speed of 75/165 kph
